OUR APPROACH
Every parent wants their child to dream big, explore freely, and grow into their potential.
At CLA, our Creative Curriculum turns those dreams into action by blending structured learning with the freedom to imagine, laying the groundwork for a stronger community. We use the Creative Curriculum aligned with the DECE’s EQ to implement developmentally appropriate practice for toddlers, 3- and 4-year- olds. We cater to four closely related and often overlapping areas: social/emotional; physical; cognitive; and language development.
The classroom environment encourages children to experiment and pursue their own interests with a curriculum that promotes play-based learning: functional, constructive, dramatic/pretend, and games with rules.
The creative curriculum is a research-based whole-child curriculum designed by Teaching Strategies and used by educators in over 250,000 classrooms annually.
The curriculum: (1) is aligned to early learning standards; (2) builds early language and literacy skills; (3) individualizes instruction; (4) nurtures the whole child; (5) develops math skills; and (5) employs technology tools to streamline teaching.
