More than early education—we’re part of a movement empowering every child and family with the tools to thrive, no matter their circumstances.

As a collaboration between the New York City Department of Education and the Weeks Educational and Social Advocacy Project, Inc. (WESAP), our approach goes beyond traditional learning by blending a structured curriculum with plenty of opportunities for creative exploration. This balance allows kids to grow in a way that feels natural to them—developing essential skills while pursuing what truly sparks their curiosity.

We believe that early education is the foundation for a thriving community.

  • Our young butterflies develop social skills and build their academic foundation. This year is a bridge from home to school. Children are given the confidence to grow and learn.

Building brighter futures, one child at a time. Every family deserves the chance to thrive.

With 40 years of experience aligning with the Department of Education’s early childhood learning standards, our curriculum, our classrooms focus on four key areas: social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.

Did you know that you can apply to our programs at no cost? Through Head Start Funding, we are able to provide a free, federally funded program that helps children from low-income families prepare for school.

A well-rounded program that emphasizes communication, empathy, and cooperation can help kids learn how to navigate relationships/manage their emotions early on. I also appreciate that it’s a stimulating environment that incorporates a mix of structured learning, creative play, and outdoor time daily, as well as age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and independence.
